Proofreading and editing needs vary from client to client, so it’s important to understand the demands of each particular job. With more than 20 years’ industry experience, I have built up a real appreciation of what is (and isn’t) required of a proofreader and copy editor.
The majority of my clients are from the New Zealand business community – KiwiSaver and other superannuation providers, life insurance companies, investment firms, banks and design houses. I also have long-term editing and proofreading relationships with the tertiary education industry.
I appreciate that my type of work can often be a last minute thing, so I’m more than happy working to tight deadlines – there’s nothing like a bit of pressure to focus the mind.
